With the continuing developments of COVID-19, Solon would like to advise residents and communities to protect themselves from catching and spreading the virus.

.
The key advice from Public Health England (PHE) is to take the following precautions:
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.
Put used tissues in the bin straight away.
Wash your hands with soap and water often and for at least 20 sec. Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
The most common sympotms of the virus are:
a cough
a high temperature
shortness of breath
If you experience any of these symptoms, please call 111 immediately.
If you need to self-isolate and have a visit scheduled with one of our staff members, please contact us as soon as possible on 0117 9244071.
