Education, Employment & Training

Are you out of work? Interested in studying? Looking to further your skills?

The Tenancy Support Officer can provide information about starting or getting back into work, college courses, learning grants and bursaries and access to training.
Get help to get back to work or college...

If you are worried about the impact that starting a job may have on your finances, the Tenancy Support Officer can provide advice and information on benefits and grants you may be entitled to.

We have direct links to learning institutions and organisations that can provide free help with getting back into work or looking for your first job.  They can help you to plan how to find work to suit you.  This can include help to write a CV, practice interview techniques or find learning or training that is right for you.

Visit the links on the right to Tomorrow's People and Next Step for more information.

Assistance with paying for courses or childcare...

We have access to charities that can help provide funding for college or university courses for you if you are on a low income.  We can help you to find help with childcare costs or other additional funding.

What about voluntary work?

If you are looking to further your experiences, enhance your life or find out more about different work sectors, we can help you to secure voluntary work placements or taster days.  Also visit the Bristol Volunteer Centre using the link on the right.
