Help to get out of debt

Through the Tenancy Support Service, you can go through a benefits health check to make sure you are getting all the money you are entitled to.

If circumstances realting to your health or personal life have recently changed, you may be entitled to extra benefits.

If you are in debt, you may be eligible for free, independent debt advice in a number of locations across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.  Visit the Bristol Debt Advice Centre website using the link on the right.

We can put you in touch with and support you to contact agencies that can provide advice and advocacy on employment, housing, immigration and legal matters.  Visit the Avon and Bristol Law Centre link on the right.

We can provide information on affordable credit and alternatives to loan sharks, door step lenders and weekly payment stores.  Visit the Bristol Credit Union website for more information if you live in Bristol.

The Consumer Credit Counselling Service provides free debt advice and has an anonymous online debt counselling service.  Visit the link on the right.
