Older People
Are you struggling to manage at home?
Would like to socialise more, but feel isolated?
Have your health needs changed as you have got older?
Age UK (formerly Age Concern)
Link Age
If your heath needs have changed as you have got older, you may be entitled to extra money to cover costs for transport, meals, care or help in the home. You should contact your local council Customer Service Point to find out more.
There are also a number of organisations that hold social activities in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Do you need help managing household tasks, decorating, gardening or small maintenance tasks around the house? You may be eligible for free help from Social Services, depending on your health needs. There are also voluntary agencies that will help those on a low income for a small fee.
For information about services for Older People, please use the links to the right.
