Chair Charlie Mosse; BA (Hons), Post Graduate Diploma in Housing, Corporate Member of the Institute of Housing, MBA
Charlie
has worked in social housing for over 10 years for both Local
Authorities and Housing Associations. He has also run a successful
training company in construction and provided consultancy in customer
services for ewsons and Terex Atlas. He is currently a member of the
executive team at United Housing Association heading up the housing
department. Charlie has a post
graduate diploma in social housing and an MBA (merit) from the
University of the West of England Business School where he spent a year
in the strategy department researching competative growth strategies
for housing associations. In his capacity as Chair for Solon South
West, Charlie sits on the Audit & Finance Committe and the resident
Participation & Equalities Working Group. He regularly attends
Resident Forums and other events and is committed to improving service
delivery, performance and customer satisfaction in order to acheive
sustainable growth.

Committee Everest Maburo; B.A. Fellow of Chartered Certified
Accountants
Everest
is an executive at PricewaterhouseCoopers Accountants. He is
responsible for engagements on the statutory audits within the Firm's
Government and Public Sector Practice in London, and the provision of
auditing services to a portfolio of Registered Social Landlords.
Everest has significant experience in the local authority sector and
over 10 years' experience of auditing. He joined the Board in 2004. |  |
Vice Chair Lynn Collingbourne; BA (Hons), Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies
Lynn
is the former Head of Strategic Housing at South Gloucestershire
Council. She now works as a consultant. Lynn joined the
Board in 2008.

Vice Chair Chris Knight;
Chris
is the former Head of Housing Services at Merlin Housing Society, and
has previously worked in senior positions responsible for housing
management, repairs and improvements, and central support services.
He is now a consultant specialising in performance improvement.

Fred Semple;
BA (Hons), DMS Operational Support Manager, Bristol City
Council
Fred
is responsible for managing a range of technical and specialist
functions including building surveyors, project managers and property
valuers. He has a strong research background and 15 years experience in
local authority housing. He was formally Bristol Regional Director at
Knightstone Housing Association. He joined the Board in 2002. |  |
Chair of Customer Service Improvement Comittee (CSIC) Margaret
Richardson; Associate of the Library Association
Margaret
was formerly a civil servant at the Ministry for Overseas Development,
and has 16 years' experience in the librarianship of housing
management,
valuation and estate management. She now undertakes part-time voluntary
work at one of Bristol's city farms. Margaret is also a Solon resident.

Robert Slade; BSc (Hons), FCCA,
MBA
Robert
was formerly Chief Executive of Radstock Co-operative, with
responsibility for the overall leadership of the business, including
financial planning and strategy, human resources, development,
servicing the Board, community issues and motivating and developing
management. Robert now works as Practice Manager for a local Doctors'

Kay Dovey; Member of the
Chartered Institute of Housing Head of Personnel &
Training, Festival Housing Group
Kay
is responsible for remuneration, training and recruitment policies, as
well as contributing to the overall management and strategic formation
of the Festival Housing Group. Has 23 years general management
experience, including 15 years within Human Resources and related
services. Kay has extensive knowledge of the social housing sector,
having worked at senior management level within housing for over 6

Julia Godwin; Member of the
Charted Institute of Housing
Julia
currently works for Aster Housing Group as Head of Development covering
the Wiltshire area, Julia is responsible for the delivery of affordable
homes and management of the Housing Corporation programme. She has 18
years of housing experience within both local authorities and housing
associations in a variety of roles, including 10 years working in

Serena Tyler; Resident Board Member
Serena
is a Senior Legal Clerk at a local firm of Solicitors and has been a
Solon resident for several years. Serena joined the Board in 2008.

Michelle Thomas; BA (hons) Housing, Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing
Michelle
is currently the Assistant Director of Development for Raglan
Housing Association, working on an ongoing development programme that
focuses on building family housing to rent or buy. Michelle joined the
Board in 2006.
