Rackfield House provides temporary low support accommodation for single homeless people in Bath.
Facilities at Rackfield House
The hostel is situated in a row of five Grade II listed cottages providing 20
single secure bedrooms. There are four bedrooms per cottage all of which have
their own kitchen/diner, lounge, bathroom, a separate toilet and access to the
communal laundry facilities and payphone.
The accommodation is fully furnished and equipped throughout. Accommodation is
offered for up to one year.
Rackfield is owned by Solon South West Housing Association. Solon is a locally-controlled housing association which provides and manages good quality homes for people in greatest housing need. Solon is committed to urban regeneration and to working in partnership with residents, local authorities and other agencies to achieve this aim.

Referrals
We accept referrals from a number of agencies including Housing Advice Centre,
Bath & North East Somerset's Homeless Unit and Julian House.
You will need to complete an application form and provide two referees. Once we receive the application we will set up an interview and your application will be discussed at the following staff meeting. If you are accepted, the allocation of a room will depend on vacancies and the vulnerability of the applicant.
