You are here: Home > Resident Involvement Our
aim is to improve the quality of communication between Solon and our
residents. We rely on residents for input into our policies and
services. We make every effort to respond to requests from residents
and welcome constructive criticism. We are striving to improve our
services through involvement.
Leanne's work includes the following areas; Residents Forum. The Residents Forum is used to encourage residents to have a say in the way that Solon is run and develops as a housing association. Maintenance Forum. The Maintenance Forum is used to encourage residents to become involved in the assessment of the quality of asset management services, obtain feedback, agree proposals for improvements and monitor the progress towards achieving them. Resident Newsletter. The Resident Newsletter is a quarterly publication that is aimed at keeping residents up-to-date with Solon's latest news, as well as providing general articles of interest. There is an editorial panel (which includes residents) that meet prior to the production of each newsletter to agree contents and layout. Bristol Partnership for Tenants is a joint initiative that aims to bring together residents from several housing associations to discuss topics of interest. The Bristol Partnership for Residents also arranges training days for residents. This section of the website will aim to keep you up to date with all the events that you can take part in. Please contact Leanne Sowersby for further information. For more information on how you can get involved please Click Here to download a copy of our leaflet. | ||
