Senior Management Team

Paul joined Solon as Chief Executive in March 1999. He has worked for housing associations for 22 years, starting at Notting Hill Housing Trust in 1983, where he spent two years as a Housing Officer and three years as a Development Officer. This was followed by nine years as Head of Development at CDS Co-operative Housing and Development Director at ASRA Greater London HA.

During his career he has worked extensively with funders, local authorities and voluntary Board members. He has also served as a housing association Board Member.

Paul has a degree in Town & Country Planning and a Diploma in Management Studies.

Nasreen was appointed as Finance Director in April 2007. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 with Ernst &Young, Nasreen initially worked for Pioneer Concrete Holdings and from 1990 worked in financial management and treasury positions in various housing associations including Northcote Housing Association and English Churches Housing Group.

Prior to joining Solon, Nasreen was Finance Manager for Refugee Housing Association (subsidiary of Metropolitan Housing Trust).

Sarah was appointed as Customer Services Director in October 2004, having spent 3½ years with Solon as Housing Services Manager and 2½ years as Senior Housing Officer. Previously she worked for Bristol City Council Housing Department, in a variety of roles, over a 10-year period.

Having started work in the centralised allocations and homelessness department, she moved to Bedminster Area Office to head a newly decentralized rehousing team. From there she moved to the Easton Area Office and took responsibility for approximately 650 inner city properties, including the management of two sheltered blocks and a small team of caretaking staff.

As Senior Housing Officer at Solon, Sarah had responsibility for rent arrears and void control and day-to-day supervision of the Housing Services Team.
